Meeteor was born out of a love of effective collaboration.

It began in the mid-1990s, when the fast-growing family business GOJO, inventor of PURELL® Hand Sanitizer, undertook a “transformation” process to become customer-focused, team-based, process-oriented and results-driven. To achieve this, the GOJO team had to learn to work together in new ways, drawing upon leading edge management theories and redesigning its practices and tools. As a result, GOJO has created a professionally-managed entrepreneurial culture, which is one of the keys to its ongoing success.

Years later, Meeteor Co-Founders and sisters Mamie Kanfer Stewart and Marcella Kanfer Rolnick, daughters of GOJO CEO Joe Kanfer, had a startling realization: Not every company works the way GOJO does. After exploring how to best bring these effective ways of working to other companies, Mamie and her team decided to focus on improving workflow and meeting culture. They do this by combining technology, skill building and coaching to deliver a robust solution that works for teams and companies of all sizes.
