Mamie Kanfer Stewart, Founder & CEO
Mamie is passionate about optimizing how people work through smart process, the core of Meeteor. Prior to founding Meeteor, she worked as a management consultant, helping non-profit organizations with strategic planning, board development and staffing. She graduated from New York University Stern School of Business and the Kansas City Art Institute. Mamie enjoys trapezing, knitting baby hats, planning theme parties, and playing piano for group sing-alongs.
Marcella Kanfer Rolnick, Co-Founder
Marcella is driven to build sustainable organizations while creating meaning and value every day. She is a key advisor to Meeteor while currently serving as Vice Chair of GOJO, the global leader in skin health and hygiene solutions for away-from-home markets and the inventor of PURELL(R) Hand Sanitizer. Marcella also founded Walnut Ridge Strategic Management Company and Everett Partners, and earned an MBA from Stanford University. Marcella is passionate about living a healthy life and leaving a healthy world.
Phil Agee, System Architect
Phil is a Senior Developer and Systems Architect who has been with Meeteor since its inception in 2013. Perhaps the most mysterious of all the Meeteor members, Phil was born in South America and has lived in seven countries, although we are not certain why. He has designed and developed a wide variety of software systems and holds a patent in assistive technology for travelers with disabilities. Phil enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures, exploring the City by bike, meditation classes, and local craft beer.
Tai Tsao, Change Management Specialist
Tai received her Masters in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and has worked as a change management/ organizational development consultant in a variety of settings both domestic and abroad, including New York’s famous MTA. She is driven to help individuals, teams and organizations be more successful with Meeteor through the lens of learning and organizational change. Although she’s only lived in NY for three years, Tai is the resident cultural expert. She orients her colleagues to the City’s many cultural opportunities, including Broadway, operas, museums, classical music, and, of course, food.
Dan Toyama, Product Manager
Dan began his career as a developer. Over time, his interests shifted to business roles which leverage his tech knowledge, people and management skills, and business acumen. Dan split his childhood between the U.S. and Japan and attended the Berklee College of Music. He then worked at photo agencies WireImage, Getty Images and Rock Paper Photo. Dan enjoys playing music, drinking beer with good people, and riding his bike.
Dorit Perry, Online Community Manager
Dorit manages Meeteor's social media and engages with the Meeteor community online. She also reads and writes about meeting best practices, team management and leadership, improving team culture, and more for the Meeteor Blog. Dorit brings a rich professional background from the fields of education, acting, improv, and eastern thought. In her spare time, she salsa and swing dances, bike rides, writes and performs comedy, and spends time with her nephews. Dorit looks forward to connecting, so reach out on Meeteor's social media platforms!
Hoa Newton, Developer
Hoa was a student of fashion until she decided to transfer her creativity to the art and science of coding. Several Flatiron School and General Assembly intensive boot camps later, she is a skilled developer who enjoys building solutions for real problems. Hoa is also a great storyteller with entertaining accounts of growing up in rural Vietnam. She loves spending time with her young daughter, and she’d also appreciate more “me” time to relax and enjoy weird Vietnamese foods.
Ezequiel Rivero, Developer
Ezequiel is a senior web designer, developer and technology enthusiast from Montevideo, Uruguay. He has designed corporate images, commercial websites, and diverse applications on Django and Ruby on Rails frameworks. Ezequiel combines his stellar design skills with front end coding capabilities to create beautiful and functional experiences that delight the user. Ezequiel also plays guitar and bass in a few bands and works as a producer, recording musicians from his country and around the world.
Lora Plesko, Mobile Lead
Lora leads the mobile team based in Croatia. She has worked in IT as a QA Analyst, Business Analyst, UX Designer and Project Manager for more than eight years. She is passionate about teaching and empowering girls and women to build their careers in IT and software engineering, so no wonder the Croatian team consists of five women! As a Gemini, Lora leads a double life - she writes and produces music for her band and commercially and she also made a documentary about the Croatian LGBT choir.

Ivana Rast, Mobile Developer
A former Java developer, Ivana found happiness in iOS and is now our lead iOS developer. With a Master's Degree in Software Engineering and more than eight years experience, there is little she can’t tackle if you just give her enough cookies. Ivana enjoys playing video games and traveling.
Mateja Skrapec, Mobile Developer
Mateja has a Master's Degree in Software Engineering and looks forward to becoming an expert in all the programming languages. She loves to travel to exotic places, but always brings her laptop because she can’t live without coding.
Sanja Hrkac, QA
Sanja is our diligent tester who finds all those pesky bugs across all devices and browsers, especially in Internet Explorer. Her Master's Degree in Social Sciences gives her an advantage in deconstructing processes and thinking up impossible test cases. Sanja enjoys beekeeping with her husband, raising her two kids, and living in the country!
Lucija Zlopasa, Designer
Lucija is the visual designer for our mobile application and a skilled artist. She has a Master's Degree in Digital Design and is passionate about all things design. When not drawing or designing, Lucija spends her days watching movies. She has seen more than 1000 movies (she has an app for that!).
